Pricing questions
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. Bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, tax forms, reports and unlimited users cost nothing, for as long as you use them. There is no trial clock and no card on file.
What do the add-ons cost?
Three things are paid, and only if you turn them on. File storage, for attaching documents and receipt images, is $3 a month for 5 GB, $6 a month for 25 GB, $15 a month for 100 GB. Receipt scanning, where the app reads a photo and fills in the vendor, date and amounts, uses tokens you buy once: 50 scans for $12, 200 scans for $40, 500 scans for $85; they never expire. Live bank feeds are $3 a month per connected bank.
Can I use the receipt app without buying anything?
The app needs somewhere to put the photo, so receipts require a storage tier. Scanning is separate: without tokens the receipt is still saved and whoever reviews it types in the amounts.
Can I cancel the add-ons anytime?
Yes, from the Billing page in the app. Storage and bank feeds are prorated when you change or remove them. Scan tokens are yours to keep.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund requests can be made within 30 days of a purchase, and consumers have a 14-day right to cancel. Our payment partner Paddle reviews each request. See the Refund Policy for the details.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards and PayPal, processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles the receipts and any applicable sales tax.
Is there a limit on users or transactions?
No. Add as many users as you need and record as many transactions as your business generates.
Is my data secure?
Each business has its own isolated database that is backed up daily. Connections are encrypted, sign-in needs an emailed code on any new device, and logins are protected against repeated failed attempts.
